186 West is a stylish and modern coffee station in the heart of Dublin 12. Coffee on the go has become a major part of everyone’s daily routine, so when our client asked us to transform a 20ft container into a take away coffee spot for them, we knew it would be a (caffeine!) hit.
This custom fabrication job commenced with the design of a layout plan for the container. Having identified the perfect access and service hatch points our steel manufacturer made the openings with precision. We then applied a fresh coat of paint outside before moving on to the inside.
The container’s floor space was at a premium, so it was essential that every square foot was fully utilised. We kitted out the container with bespoke units, to ensure that the preparation space and storage fitted perfectly. The container was then fitted with custom shutters, funky graphics and LED lighting to catch the eye of it’s new customer base.
We transported the container to its new home and 186 West Coffee House was complete! To add the finishing touches, we hand painted murals on the exterior walls and added in some astro turf grass to lead the customer up to the hatch and make the area pop! We thoroughly enjoyed working on this from concept to completion.
