J.J. Darboven, a long time client of ours, is a developer and distributor of premium hot drink brands. Their name is synonymous with coffee excellence, and they pride themselves on sharing their passion and knowledge in the area. They approached us to fit out their new training room based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The brief was to create a highly functional, yet modern space, where new and experienced Baristas could come to train and hone their skills.
Functional elements were planned with subtlety, to be incorporated into the modern design. Such as the audio visual install of cameras over each counter station, to facilitate the live stream of training sessions. The custom made counters, with feature wooden panelling, vibrant red floor markings and complimentary surrounding flooring defined each station and this look was carried through to the over all design of the room. Custom over counter light-boxes not only added a strong design feature, but a practical working light solution too. We were delighted with the finished result and another successful project for J.J. Darboven brief was delivered.
